Autism Jobs Blog
Hi, I’m Arik and I write about jobs and employment for autistics, this is why:
My interest in autism started during my son’s diagnosis. I talked with many autistic people about their biggest challenges. There are many. However, jobs for autistic people and Asperger’s is a huge problem. Autistic people are significantly less employed and when they do find jobs, they earn significantly less. That’s wrong! If autistic people will find jobs that fit their skills and potential, while staying happy at work, it will open a lot of opportunities to the entire autistic community, and to their employers (or employees, why not?). Feel free to contact me via erikbrodch [at] gmail [dot] com, including to tell me my NT mind is doing something wrong (and please forgive me for that).

Introducing the NOS-Letter
Did you like NOS Magazine? You might like the NOS-Letter
Sara Nov 5, 2019
Welcome to the NOS-Letter. If you’re here reading this, you probably follow me on social media or read NOS Magazine back in the day. I am launching a paid subscription newsletter through Substack. All the cool writers are doing it, and I do love a good bandwagon. So socially appropriate, right? Gummy bear for me. The first full newsletter will go out on November 18, 2019. I will be charging $5 a month or $50 for a year’s subscription — You basically get two months for free by committing to a little more upfront. If you’re low-income and want access, please feel free to reach out to DM me on Twitter. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Here’s what to expect: Short essays and reported pieces that are too wonky or controversial for mainstream press, reading recommendations, and personal updates. Expect the kind of challenging content that I used to publish in NOS Magazine, but a little less formal.
